UKGBNI

The country I live in is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Around these parts we call it the UK, or sometimes Britain if we want to be less formal, though strictly that's just the name of one of main island. It is a union of two Kingdoms, a Principaility, a Province, and a ragbag of Dependencies.

This sometimes makes it hard to fill out online forms.

Country of residence:
Scroll down to "U", for United Kingdom.
Scroll up to "G" for Great Britain.
Scroll down to "E" for England.
Scroll back down to "U" to make sure it's really not there.
Scroll up to "B" for Britain.
Scroll back down to "U"... did they really leave us off?

It's at this point that you notice that the UK get's special treatment as an industrial anglophonic nation and is actualy sat right up top.

I hate that.
