kbps Therapy

I've heard the term 'Retail therapy". As I understand it, it means that you go out and spend money on CDs or cars or pretty shoes or whatever, and thus feel happy. It's not something I've ever been able to get behind: I'm a much more pragmatic shopper. My thoughts run along the line "I need trousers. There are some. Good."

On the other hand, I'm a real big geek. Imagine the format of retail theory, but remove the aspects of having to hand over money and leaving the house. Now imagine how I feel about sites like the music of M. Zole, home-brew Star Wars moonshine, or the benefits that come from registering the game Blades of Avernum.

There's something strangely aesthetic about a rapidly filling blue bar.
