Possibly the geekiest thing I've ever done

And you should know by now that I don't mean that in a bad way.

What I'm doing right now is using a Telnet client to connect to a text-only role-playing game on a Linux server. There I intereact by using commands like +os:waves. The game is hosted on a linux machine. The game's theme is Middle-Earth between the events of The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring. I know know the difference between IC and OOC and Pose ettiquette.
