Lo, I wax large with pride

Today I recieved my first piece of blog-related email.

It is from a former Oxford physicist called Nathan Hill. Yeah, he thought that was weird too, that's why he mailed me. Therefore I now encourage you all to go and visit JustNathan, especially as I approve of him thoroughly. By which I mean that we have some things in common. This is me being honest about my criteria for approving of people. And yes, I mean things in common other than name and degree.

In other news, I like it when people make me laugh without trying to be funny.

""I was walking down Cornmarket today- there was a brass band, and they were playing 'deedledeedledeedle' music and I thought "Oh no- this is the soundtrack to Me Walking Down the Street". It was completely incongrous. I really ought to have been wearing a Chaplin-esque moustache and scurrying from tree to tree or something"".

That's quite a truncated version of their anecdote. Oh, frail human memory, what mischief you work.
